Like David I also get my best Ideas when I'm walking, normally when I'm returning at home from Work, in the train or on the street.
Obviously, I need to listen iPod Blink 182 songs, or Metal one, to take the 'EUREKA'

David, you are absolutely right. Often our brain just needs a bit of relaxation. On the other extreme, when I’m under pressure and I need to "force" ideas, I routinely make the most of the technique of mind mapping. People who knows me is aware that I'm probably as fanatic as Tony Buzan on its use ;-)

I get my best ideas in the shower, when I am trying to sleep or while I am walking (anywhere). I guess things like that somehow makes the brain more relaxed and creative.
